Welcome to My New Moomin Blog!

After using Tumblr for six months for my blog, I’ve realised that my own website would be much easier to manage because the Moomins have such a huge fanbase and I really don’t like being limited on what I can/can’t upload - plus, not everyone uses Tumblr.

My blog will be used for documenting my purchases, travels, events, stories, thoughts, gifs, videos and basically anything Moomin related that I would like people to know about.

The theme of this website and my Tumblr were both my ideas, although they were brought to life by my fiancé who is a graphic designer.

My banner is similar to my Tumblr, and the font used is called Heywood. It is the most similar to the font used for the front covers of the comic books.

Finally, the background was inspired by the bags given when you purchase something from the Moomin Shop in Covent Garden.
